I'm not a novice when in comes to installing Delphi packages, indeed I have been using TeeChart with QuickReport for many years without issue but I have spent many hours trying to resolve this issue and I'm no further forward. To create the extension, choose the File > New > Other > Thread Object menu. The Execute procedure must be overridden in the extension class of TThread or else an 'Abstract Error' will result.

I've then installed a clean copy of D10.3, QuickReport 5.06 Pro and TeeChart 2018.26 - no other libraries other than these. , RAD Studio, Delphi, C++Builder 10.3 ISO. There were a few D10 files and folders which were also cleaned up so as far as I'm concerned it's a totally clean install environment. I've still not had any joy with this installation despite taking the (drastic) step of completely uninstalling D10.3 and removing all trace of it from my machine.
